How to update MRCT software/firmware

1.       Download the latest version of PowerDB ( EMBEDDED ).

2.       UNZIP the installation files onto the root of a USB stick

3.      Power the MRCT on.

4.       Insert the USB stick into the USB drive of the MRCT

5.       Select the TOOLS/Device Settings Icon

6.       Select Update FW in upper right corner

7.       Select Update FW.

8. A dialog will appear giving the option to update either the FW or the SW. 

 

a)       To update the PowerDB SW select STVI Firmware.  This will start the process and update the PowerDB SW.  At the end the unit will automatically reboot with the SW updated

b)      To update MRCT FW select MRCT FW.  This will start the firmware update process.  At the end you will be prompted to reboot the unit when you hear clicking noise.  When it finishes reboot the FW has been updated

 

 

 

To check that the versions have been updated:

1.       Select the TOOLS/Device Settings Icon

2         Select Display Versions in upper right corner

 

 

3            Make sure SW and FW versions match desired levels
